The washing machine mismanagement led to my clothes being removed prematurely, which was frustrating despite the advertised 15-30 minute buffer.

The staff were responsive when I needed help, especially with luggage storage. However, I faced some issues during my stay. I found the pillows too low for comfortable sleeping, which affected my daughter's rest. Additionally, I encountered an unexpected 2000 yen charge at check-in without clear communication about it. While the washing machine facilities were convenient, my clothes were taken out prematurely, even though I followed the guidelines. These aspects dampened my stay a bit, even though the hotel itself was overall enjoyable.

Very close to the station, just a block away. The cleaning was daily, and the room had a nice size with a foot massage machine. The staff was helpful when we had an issue with the laundry. The dinosaur check-in was a fun touch! 🦖

The Henn Na Hotel Kyoto Hachijoguchi offers a great location right across from the Kyoto Train Station, making travel convenient for business. The staff were incredibly accommodating during my stay, especially when faced with unexpected challenges. The room I stayed in was of a good size, and the presence of coin-operated washing and drying machines provided added convenience, all at reasonable prices.
